Get a Pair for Yourself and See Why They're Called 90% Pant
This is the idea that launched Sitka: an insulated, breathable soft shell built to keep you charging when the temperature drops on mid- and late-season mountain hunts. It’s the foundation of ‘Turning Clothing Into Gear’.
We completely reimagined the fourth generation 90% Pant, and in the process invented a new fabric with some incredible properties. This new iteration is three times more wind resistant than its predecessor, evening out heat retention between whisper-still mornings and howling afternoons. The microgrid fleece backer throughout keeps your legs toasty throughout the mid and late season, while the channels formed by the microgrid structure promote airflow for a more consistent microclimate. The fabric’s increased stretch offers improved freedom of movement, reducing fatigue when you pile on the miles. Zippered hip pockets, a zippered rear pocket, and quiet-snap cargo pockets keep your necessities in place. The 90% Pant is pliable, durable and quiet – a precisely engineered tool that can take you through 90% of your mid and late season.
“Once it’s mid-October in Colorado, I trade my Ascents for the 90% Pants. I don’t lose any mobility, but add the warmth I need for those mid to late season hunts. I love that no matter how much I abuse these pants, they keep on ticking. The micro-fleece liner makes these pants super comfortable, and to have pants that keep you warm without adding bulk is a huge plus. I wouldn’t leave base camp with out them!”—Sitka Athlete Wes Atkinson
