The ideal pant for extended exposure to the most extreme conditions
The Boreal Bib Pant is built for hunters and guides who need the ultimate waterproof insulation for the coldest conditions imaginable. It is ideal for late-season hunts at northern latitudes.
The Bib Pant is insulated with the world’s first water-repellent hybrid insulation of 60% 650 fill power white duck down and 40% ultrafine Primaloft® fibers. This is wrapped in 3 layers of GORE-TEX® membrane and concealed with a highly durable polyester face fabric. Designed to fit your body, not layered over bulky fabrics, the articulated patterning and minimal bulk give you freedom to move. The seat is reinforced for extra protection, while the high back and integrated suspenders keep the piece comfortably in place. All zippers are welded and watertight. Full-length size zips allow venting and make for easy on and off in the blind. Zippered hip pockets and quiet snap cargo pockets keep you organized.
TECHNOLOGY PRIMALOFT® INSULATION TECHNOLOGY PRIMALOFT® is the ultimate in insulation technology for hunters. The patented blend of microfibers is engineered to retain maximum warmth even when wet. Ultra-fine insulating fibers create a product that is quiet and less bulky, allowing for greater freedom of movement. Easy care PRIMALOFT® provides the warmth of down, but it is fast drying and more breathable.
New for 2014, comes the ultimate combination of PrimaLoft® ultra-fine fibers and water-repellent down, offering high-performance warmth and comfort in variable conditions while adhering to the PrimaLoft® promise of an environmentally safe technology free of fluorocarbons.
• Thermally Efficient
• Superior Water Resistance
• Dries Faster than Down
• Wind Resistant
GORE-TEX PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY Garments engineered with GORE-TEX® fabrics are durably waterproof and windproof and very breathable—guaranteed. They provide reliable weather protection and maximized comfort in all weather conditions. Excellent management of perspiration leads to optimized body-heat regulation. No post-activity chill. No cooling off due to wind chill. Each square inch of GORE-TEX® membrane contains 9 billion pores. Each microscopic hole is 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, making it impossible for rain, snow and sleet to pass through. While each pore of a GORE-TEX® membrane is smaller than a water droplet, each is 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This is what enables GORE-TEX® fabric to breathe so that sweat vapor can escape, keeping you dry from the inside—the ideal solution for hunters looking for broad weather protection and style.
Because of their superior breathability, GORE-TEX® products allow perspiration to escape during active use.
The microporous structure of the GORE-TEX® membrane does not allow water to penetrate.
While incredibly warm, the Boreal's low-bulk construction and articulated patterning let you move without restraint. The high back creates expansive overlap with the Jacket for added wind and water protection. All zippers are welded and watertight. Hip pockets and quiet snap cargo pockets offer plenty of space to organize your necessities. The durable face fabric keeps you from worrying about snags or tears.

WATERFOWL The best waterfowl hunting can take place in the worst weather. Armed with this understanding, we developed systems centered around the most effective outerwear fabric technologies available and worked our way in. Insulating layers were designed to maximize warmth with minimal bulk to enable rapid mounting of a shotgun and fluid swings. Like all Sitka systems, next-to-skin moisture management is key to the functionality of all system pieces and are essential for maximized comfort. The GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Waterfowl pattern utilized is optimized for typical approach vectors and has factored in the constant movement of ducks and geese as well as the unique eye physiology of waterfowl. Concealment, mobility, and weather protection build the foundation. This is how we define Waterfowl.
