Track flies smoothly into the water and feel the bite with the Contact Nymph Fly Rod
T&T’s Contact series nymph rods transfer every vibration from fly to fingertips. T&T’s proprietary StratoTherm resin results in extremely light-weight and responsive rods that maintain superb durability and strength. Flexible but quick-dampening rod tips nearly eliminate shock waves in the leader after each cast, allowing flies to track smoothly into the water, improving strike detection on immediate reaction bites. All Contact rods feature a strategic taper that generates positive hook-setting tension with minimal rod sweep, permitting anglers to effectively fish an increased range of rod positions and angles to cover more water with less wading.
Features of the Contact Fly Rod: • Four piece multi-modulus graphite blank incorporating Thomas & Thomas’ latest proprietary composites and curing process, with stealth

The Contact 1086: The ideal tool for anglers who have refined European Nymphing tactics for trout, and want to step up their game to effectively tackle larger migratory trout or Steelhead. The 6wt 10'8" is designed with the perfect blend of sensitivity and power to perform a range of technical presentations – tight line nymphing, bottom bouncing, swinging wet flies, or roll casting a small floating indicator.
I recently purchased the Contact 1133 3wt rod. The very first day it made me a better euro fly fisherman. Seriously, all of a sudden I was much more accurate with my casts, the responsiveness of the rod is incredible and I could feel ever single time I was bumping the bottom. This was important of course, but nothing more important than when you hook up "fish on"...the nice c curve and great soft tip to help land some very nice rainbows and browns with 6x. I have always fished on the cheep and this was my first venture into a high end rod. I wished I had done it years ago. Great rod T & T keep up the good work.
