Powered by Hardy’s Sintrix FLT construction and specialized long-length tapers, these rods deliver an exceptionally lightweight, stable feel without sacrificing lifting power. A potent butt section provides the backbone needed to command trophy trout, while a supple, fast-recovering tip ensures delicate, pinpoint delivery of light nymph rigs. To maximize versatility on the water, each rod includes two interchangeable tips: a traditional tubular carbon tip tailored for casting heavier flies and multi-nymph rigs, and a solid nano-carbon tip designed for maximum feedback and effortless loading with ultra-light flies and micro-tippets. Combined with an unground blank that eliminates monofilament line cling and a down-locking reel seat for flawless balance, the Tactus Nymphing Rod stands as Hardy's most adaptable and responsive tight-line tool to date.

Two Tips. More Control

Each Tactus Nymphing rod includes two interchangeable tips, allowing you to adapt to different rigs and presentations. The solid carbon tip loads under minimal weight, providing exceptional sensitivity and control with light nymphs, mono rigs, and fine leaders. The traditional tubular tip offers greater support for heavier, multi-fly rigs and use with a conventional fly-line. Together, they create a versatile nymphing system without compromising specialized performance.

Sintrix FLT

Tactus uses Hardy's advanced nano-silica resin system, Sintrix FLT, to reinforce the matrix surrounding the carbon fibres, and improve resistance to compressive forces. This allows Tactus blanks to achieve exceptional strength at remarkably low weight, with the stability and rapid recovery required for technical presentations. That reduction in weight translates directly to greater feel, accuracy, and control. Combined with precision taper, titanium guides, and custom lightweight reel seats, Sintrix FLT, helps make Tactus Hardy's most advanced light-line rod series.
