The Nautilus NV-G 8/9 represents the benchmark in high-performance saltwater and heavy-freshwater reel engineering. Fully machined in Miami, Florida, from 6061-T6 aluminum, the NV-G features Nautilus's radical G-Spool geometry—an arbor design that maximizes line retrieval rates while minimizing backing memory and drying times. Powered by a fully sealed carbon-fiber and ceramic disc drag system, this 8/9 size model provides silky-smooth startup inertia and unstoppable stopping power for bonefish, stripers, redfish, and heavy freshwater gamefish. Set for Right Hand retrieve.

Condition Note

This reel is in Good Condition. It displays honest signs of previous field use, including visible rim rash and minor surface scuffs on the exterior anodized finish. The frame and spool remain completely straight and structurally sound, free of deep gouges or structural bends. The drag adjustment knob turns smoothly across its full range, and the sealed carbon drag operates flawlessly with zero binding. It has been fully cleaned, technically inspected, and is 100% structurally sound. Includes the original Nautilus neoprene reel pouch.
