Echo Fly Reels: Base, Ion, Bravo, Bravo LT and Shadow Click

Compare Echo fly reels for freshwater, saltwater and trout-line or Euro-nymphing setups. Choose a model and size by its line rating, backing capacity, weight and drag design, then check the product page for current availability.

Base and Ion

The Base combines an impact-resistant composite frame with a Rulon disc drag. Our listing includes 2/3, 4/5 and 6/8 sizes. The Ion uses a hybrid machined/cast alloy design and disc drag, with six sizes from 2/3 through 10/12. Echo designs the Ion primarily for freshwater use, with additional care required after saltwater use.

Bravo and Bravo LT

The Bravo uses aluminum alloy construction and Echo's saltwater-safe PIT STOP carbon-fiber disc drag, with tool-free access to its components. Compare 7/9, 8/10 and 10/12 sizes. The Bravo LT is a separate model with a four-disc carbon drag and O-rings to help keep water and dirt out. Our Bravo LT listing includes 4/5, 6/7 and 8/10 sizes; check the model-specific line and backing specifications.

Shadow Click

The Shadow Click uses a click-pawl system and an adjustable Line Window for conventional trout lines or thin Euro-nymphing lines. Choose from 2/3 and 4/5 sizes, and compare reel weight and capacity with your rod and line setup.
