Forged in the rugged wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, the new Redington Olympus Spey rod series is engineered to master demanding conditions and hard-charging migratory fish. Built with a fast-action, quick-recovering taper, the Olympus delivers the line speed and turnover required for ultra-precise casts, effortless anchor-centric spey maneuvers, and total control over strong, erratic fish. From technical trout spey streams to trophy steelhead and Atlantic salmon runs, this series provides an instinctual, high-performance feel across all two-handed applications.
At the core of the Olympus Spey is Redington’s next-generation Nano Resin Technology, delivering an exceptionally light yet highly resilient blank finished in a striking Steelhead Green. Upgraded touchpoints include a premium cork handle featuring accent rings to guide hand placement and a composite end ball for added durability. The freeze-resistant dark walnut reel seat is fitted with a laser-textured sliding band and nylon-lined locking nuts for a secure, slip-free reel fit, while smooth chrome-plated stainless steel guides maximize line shootability when distance matters most.
