Echo Prime Saltwater Fly Rod

Most anglers agree that the ideal saltwater rod will help you hit your target with the minimum number of false casts. When targeting flats fish, things happen quickly and usually in the 40 to 60 foot “kill zone.” Everything about an ECHO PRIME rod has been optimized to help you succeed in the zone. Its easy-loading tip section and condensed 8’10” length provide for a cycle of casting quickly with minimal effort. Modest power levels enhance feel during the cast but don’t give out on long shots. From the lightweight guides at the tip of the rod, to the multi-zone handle shape, to the no pinch point fighting butt, this rod series has been engineered to assist you get the fly to the target and assist you when you get the grab.

The Prime Rod Series is available in 4-piece models, 8wt to 12wt and 2-piece in 8, 10 and 11 wt. Two piece rods have the same action as their four piece cousins. These stealthy rods are Echo's most all-around capable saltwater rod ever designed.

Rajeff Sports would like your ECHO experience to be a good one and we ask that you take care of your equipment with the following regular maintenance:

Wash all components with warm freshwater after each days use in saltwater. Pay extra attention to the space where the guides meet the blank and the metal parts of the reel seat. Try to keep sand and dirt out of the ferrules. Occasionally use a few drops of any reel oil or grease on the reel seat threads to keep it operating smoothly. Paraffin wax can also be used on the ferrules if needed to ensure a proper fit. Do not use tape on your ferrules.

ECHO Warranty & Repair Policy

All ECHO rods are covered by their policy over the natural life of the product for the original owner at the discretion of Rajeff Sports. Rods that are determined to be damaged by abuse or neglect, either by physical or environmental factors (excessive wear and tear beyond normal use, saltwater corrosion, mold damage, etc) are not covered by the warranty policy.

If your rod breaks during normal fishing use, Rajeff will repair or replace your rod for a service fee (fee level differs by rod model) while the rod is a currently produced model and repairable. If your rod is a discontinued model and is not repairable, you will be offered a current equivalent replacement model at 50% off the MSRP.

Most current production models will have replacement tips available for purchase through Echo's website without submitting a warranty/repair request.
