Designed for anglers who demand ultimate precision with light lines and dry flies, the Hardy Tactus Dry Fly Rods deliver extraordinary finesse and tactile feedback. By pairing Hardy’s Sintrix FLT technology with Croston-designed tapers, these rods combine an ultra-lightweight feel with fast recovery for effortless accuracy and delicate line control. Whether you are turning over long leaders, executing technical "Spanish-style" dry-fly presentations, or throwing folded leader casts, the Tactus creates the drag-free drifts needed to trick educated trout in demanding waters. Available in 9’2" and 9’9" models, the shorter lengths are ideal where accuracy and delicate presentations are needed. The longer rods offer superior line mending and reach with enough supple tip control to double as a tight-line nymphing tool.

Sintrix FLT

Tactus uses Hardy's advanced nano-silica resin system, Sintrix FLT, to reinforce the matrix surrounding the carbon fibres, and improve resistance to compressive forces. This allows Tactus blanks to achieve exceptional strength at remarkably low weight, with the stability and rapid recovery required for technical presentations. That reduction in weight translates directly to greater feel, accuracy, and control. Combined with precision taper, titanium guides, and custom lightweight reel seats, Sintrix FLT, helps make Tactus Hardy's most advanced light-line rod series.
