The BEST Permit Line on the market with low-stretch, SlickCast performance!

RIO’s Elite Permit line features an easy casting taper that loads at close range, and a long back taper for fast, 2nd shot casts. The front taper and weight distribution is designed to provide soft presentations so as not to spook wary Perms. It also maintains enough weight to easily cast typical crab patterns. Each line is built on RIO’s low-memory DirectCore that is extremely easy to stretch and lies perfectly straight on the water, yet retains the stiffness required to cast in hot conditions.

In addition, this line is built with SlickCast, creating the slickest, most durable coating on the market—producing the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.

Size Guide

This line is built with SlickCast, creating the slickest, most durable coating on the market—producing the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line. That means when casting, lines with SlickCast will cast farther than similar lines made without it. You will love the slickness on your first cast, and you’ll be amazed by the slickness after numerous days on the water. Extra distance comes with ease along with extended drag-free drifts as you notice SlickCast lines slip effortlessly through your rod guides. Slickening agents constantly migrate to the exterior surface so you can trust your SlickCast line to be as slick next season as the day you bought it.

Not only does it outcast, but it also outlasts other fly lines. The SlickCast formulae provides for the toughest and most durable fly line coating in the world and blasts off the charts when tested for abrasion and cracking resistance. Lab te
