For Small Creeks and Short Casts

The Amplitude Smooth series of lines are the highest-performance smooth fly lines in the world. With up to five times less drag and eight times the durability of traditional lines, this will change the way you look at fly line performance.

The Creek Trout Taper is designed for casting in small creeks because sometimes your average weight forward lines don't do the job. The rear loaded short-bellied fly line with an extended handling section. That means more mass is distributed to the front of the line, which assists in turning over weighted flies and performing roll casts.

• Revolutionary AST Plus slickness additive for superior shooting ability and increased durability

• Short-head design with handling line delivers flies at short-to-medium range with extended line control; Built full size heavy

• Turns over weighted nymphs and streamers, yet offers light presentations when used with long leaders

Good Experience

I put this on a 3wt set up for small streams. This line works perfect for this and would buy again with no hesitation. Very soft and smooth, line lays great on the water.

Great for small creeks!

Overall, this line is good for short and accurate casts on smaller creeks. I have the WF3F paired with a 7 foot 3 weight rod with a med-fast action. This line might work better on a faster action rod or maybe more length than the rod I've paired it with, but I'm pleased with it.
