The rod models available range from a delicate 2 weight through TFO's popular 10 weight. The Professional Series II travel rods have taken TFO's reputation to new levels. Possessing a medium-fast, progressive action that fly anglers find smooth to cast with deceptive power. Casting recovery is surprisingly forgiving for this rod making it a favorite for fly fishermen of all different casting abilities. For the price there is not a better travel rod on the market. Traveling anglers can afford to take them as a backup, but often return with a new favorite.

This makes for an easier dialogue between our customers, sales team and shipping department. Upon receiving "Trade up Items" from our customers, we evaluate each one based on the grading system below. We always do our best to accurately describe each item. If you have any questions or concerns about an item in our Trade Up Program, it is important that you express them before purchase to avoid dispute. This is a service we provide as a courtesy to our customers and we appreciate your cooperation with the guidelines provided.
Excellent:
Items in "Excellent Condition" are essentially brand new, they show no signs of wear, and packaging is in similar condition as it would come from the manufacturer.
Great:
Items in "Great Condition" are in new condition but may not include a rod tube, sock, or the original packaging. These items show little to no signs of wear and are in perfect working condition. Some may have been used for one day. They may have been lawn casted by previous owners or sales representatives, shown in trade shows, or used in product videos.
Good:
Items in "Good Condition" are in perfect working condition but may show signs or use (i.e. have dirty corks, small scratches or nicks). These items often come without original packaging, may be missing a tube or pouch.
Used:
Items in "Used Condition" often show signs of prolonged use in various applications. They are in working condition but will often have dirty corks, scratches and nicks. These items almost never come in original packaging. They may be older style rods or reels.

At Stillwater Fly Shop, we offer you credit towards new items in our store in exchange for your used gear. All items we take in are evaluated by fly fishing experts to be in working condition and ready for use. If your item is deemed to be unusable we will send it back to you at your cost.
We guarantee all items to be in working condition but are not responsible for cosmetic blemishes or other issues that do not effect the performance of the item.
We do not accept returns of trade up items under the warrant that they are "not as described." We evaluate each and every item we take in based on a system we created to accurately derive an item's condition.
