I fish New Zealand rivers where you use a 3wt with trepidation, especially when wanting to release the fish in a healthy state. Smooth and light for casting, the T&T Contact 2 has also proved itself to control the fight with a butt section that is powerful enough for the bigger fish. I love having the fighting butt to help absorb big fish pressure.
